Online flower delivery service, Floward, announces partnership with The Mental Health Foundation

Floward has pledged to donate 1% of their annual sales in 2021 to the Mental Health Foundation

Go-to online flower and gifts delivery service, Floward, announces its partnership with the Mental Health Foundation (MHF), the UK’s leading charity for mental health. As part of the partnership, Floward has committed to donate 1% of its annual sales in 2021 to the charity.

With one in six people likely to experience a common mental health problem in any given week, the MHF helps people understand, protect and sustain their mental health by providing access to information about steps they can take to reduce their mental health risks and increase their resilience.

Since launching in 2017, Floward has always been passionate about their social responsibility as a business and has already dedicated 1% of its annual sales to various CSR initiatives and organisations in the MENA region. Floward positions itself as a service that focuses on delivering positive feelings and connecting people; something that is needed now more than ever with the pandemic exacerbating feelings of anxiety, depression and loneliness. Following its launch in the UK, Floward was determined to follow suit in their new territory and deemed the MHF the perfect charity for the business to support.

Floward CEO Abdulaziz Al Loughani says: “Hundreds of thousands of people suffer from mental health issues, more so today than before given the difficult times we’re all experiencing today. We are excited to support MHF, a charity that gives people the opportunity to talk more openly about their issues and gives them access to the resources they need. At Floward, we have always been committed to take part in activities that benefit our communities and are always keen to play an active role and not just be a bystander.”

Fiona Halton, Head of Corporate Partnerships at the MHF said: “We are happy to be working with Floward on this initiative as they launch in the UK. The money raised will enable us to continue our work to address mental health issues.  We are delighted to be able to raise much needed funds through the positive benefits of sending and receiving flowers.”
